Biometric Enrollment Guide
Users on K 2 are required to do a Biometric Registration as an additional security feature.
a. Biometric registration is compulsory for all the users of Khajane 2.
Biometric obtained will be used for authentication during the login by the users and also for all the approvals to be performed by the user during the bill preparation and submission to the Treasury.
b. Biometric registration will be done in the respective Treasuries.
The registered users are required to physically visit the treasuries for biometric enrolment.
A user approaching Treasury for biometric registration needs to be first registered within Khajane 2 as a User.
In terms of fingerprints to be captured, the thumb and index fingers of both hands of the employee has to be collected.
The biometric identity would be first created by the Superintendent (Maker) within the system by capturing the fingerprint.
The registered jurisdictional Treasury Officer (Approver) would again capture the fingerprint, verify it, and confirm the acceptance.
